Aren’t coffee dates the best?
There are few things I like more than sitting down with a good friend in a pretty decor and plotting about world conquests. Plus: coffee.
The recently-opened Myriade in downtown Montreal is one of the prettiest little cafés. The walls are adorned with Drawn & Quarterly books, the floor is worthy of the best #ihavethisthingwithfloors entries and marble tables make very pretty Instagram shots. But the best, best thing is the fact that Myriade is hidden in the gorgeous downtown Club Monaco store, making it hard to find for noisy and hurried crowds.
The Myriade brand understands coffee as well as they do decor. Their coffee is often considered to be one of the city’s best; it’s sustainable and comes from Vancouver’s expert roasters, 49th Parallel. Their espresso machine was designed exclusively for them, and pastries come from different Montreal pâtisseries, and they are absolutely delicious.
Here are a few photos from this little gem:
Let’s keep this place a secret, shall we?
