Oh, Barbados. Such a feast for the eyes!
I spent a week on the Caribbean island of Barbados last January, and it was pure bliss. I still have a ton of photos to share, along with my impressions, but for now I’ll just leave you with this collection of Instagrams I posted during my trip. As you’ll soon figure out, Barbados is stunning. But it’s not only that. From the wilder, rugged East Coast -where you’ll find the breathtaking Bathsheba and gorgeous Crane Beach- to the pristine sands of the more posh West Coast (nicknamed the Gold Coast) to bustling Bridgetown, the island’s capital, there is a ton of things to see and do in Barbados and I must say that one week wasn’t nearly enough for everything I wanted to experience.
This only means that I’ll have to go back… which, in my opinion, is the absolute best news.
I hope you’ll find inspiration looking at these photos; I’m especially certain you’ll #lovebarbados as much as I did. Without further ado, here’s my Instagram tour of Barbados.
BARBADOS IN PHOTOS
Rockley Beach was where I spent most of my mornings as my hotel, the Accra Beach Hotel was located directly on this magnificent beach.
There is just something about street scenes in the Caribbean that makes me want to photograph it all! Bridgetown was especially photogenic.
Another fantastic thing about Rockley Beach: the sunsets!
Bathsheba was the highlight of my trip. I spent hours and hours wandering the wild beach, trying to take it all in… It was just breathtaking.
Rum punch all day everyday. Well, maybe not all day, because that would make everything a blur… but certainly every day!
Crane Beach, on the East coast, was simply spectacular.
Bikini by Sea Reinas, a wonderful designer brand from the island.
The water at Rockley Beach was gorgeous, and the waves just strong enough
The island’s West Coast was absolutely gorgeous.

I walked from beach to beach on the island’s West coast and found pretty scenery at every corner… along with very posh boutique hotels.
Don’t hesitate to drop me a line with your recommendations or your favorite spots on the island; I’m already planning my return trip!
